Kelli Barton-Edward Jones Investments

The Wellington Family Diner has opened in Wellington at 315 W. 8th at the America's Best Value Inn.  Bob Master, owner, said that the breakfast buffet will feature scrambled eggs, hasbrowns, ham and all the essential breatfast items one can eat for $5.95.  Lunch will feature roast beef and fried chicken.   Dinner features include K.C. Strip for $8 and catfish on Fridays.  The Diner is open daily with Sunday hours of 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wellington Health MartWellington's Health Mart opened it's doors and officially became Wellington's only independent pharmacy.  Linn Shaffer, Health Mart owner is also owner of the Caldwell Pharmacy in Caldwell.  The hours for business are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The Health Mart is located at 505 E. 16th, Suite 2.  Health Mart will also have a drive through service.

Sumner Regional Medical Center (SRMC) in Wellington, has been recognized as a Community Value Provider by Cleverly and Associates, an Ohio-based firm which measures a hospitals value in a community.  Four key performance areas are financial viability and plant reinvestment, hospital cost structure, hospital charge structure and hospital quality performance.  SRMC was one of just six Kansas hospitals that scored high enough and will be featured in a new publication "State of the Hospital Industry - 2010 Edition".
