Three Sumner County Communities Awarded JOBS Grants

The Federal Home Loan Bank has announced the 2015 approved projects under their JOBS - Joint Opportunities for Building Success - grant program. Three Sumner County projects were awarded funding through this program. Each application has to be submitted through a bank that is affiliated with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka.
Impact Bank - Caldwell - $19,100.00 - Community Child Care Program
Vintage Bank of Kansas - Conway Springs - $5,900 - For assistance with purchasing and installing the new mobile X-Ray machine and accessory equipment for the Conway Springs Clinic.
Corner Bank - Oxford - $25,000 - for the Hometown Market - To add hardware inventory to the new grocery store.
“We want to offer our congratulations to the communities and projects who received funding.” stated Janis Hellard, Sumner County Economic Development Commission Director. “We were glad our office could be of assistance during the grant writing process for two of these projects. It is always great to see good things happening in our Sumner County Communities.”
